I'd never have known what this was had I not seen it discussed here.

The inventor is on 60 Mins... just came on CT.

My husband and I did the Segway this past weekend on the Wonder. OMG, was it fun! We split the 10 minutes ($15), so we each had 5 minutes. I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was great - easy to use after a couple of minutes, and just fun, fun, fun. Unfortuately, our boys were out on their own at the time, so they missed it, but for 2 47-year-old oldsters (one skinny and fit, one tubby and not-so-fit), it was neat!

Try it!

When did you guys do the Segway. Sue was on the October 3rd 3-day and saw them, but we missed them on the November 7th 3-day. Obviously, you didn't. I guess that's a good reason to cruise again. :)

Oh my, does THIS segment bring back memories! :teeth: I did it in August on the Wonder and will do it again on the Magic in December. Thanks for the heads up, pugdog, we are watching it right now on the West Coast! :)

I know this is probably a stupid question, but what is Segway?? :)

We were at Disneyland a few weeks ago and as we walked out of the Grand Californian, up came a cast member on one. I guess they use them in the parks. That was the first time I had seen anyone on one for work!

My husband and I rode one on our 11/2 Magic cruise. Shawn, the CM in charge, said that DCL is the only cruise line that has them. It was a lot of fun, even though I almost wiped out in the net dividing our area from a basketball game!
