Segway Experience at EPCOT

Does anyone know if the AAA discount applies to this tour? I don't see it listed with the other EPCOT tours in my AAA brochure, but I know it's fairly new. Has anyone done this? Is it fun? Is it worth the $$? Do you just go around World Showcase or do you get to go around Future World as well? When can you sign up for this? Do you have to pre-pay?

Yes, you must pre-pay. Call WDW Tour to make your reservation. They give a discount for AP, DVC, Disney Visa, not sure about AAA. You spend the first hour inside learning how to ride it, then the 2nd hour outside in World Showcase. It is so worth it, I've done it twice!

I booked this trip for my son and I recently. The AAA discount does apply and I believe the cost ws 45 with the discount (normally 60) and they charge your CC when you make the reservation. You do not need the AAA card when reserving but will need it when attending the event. If you need to cancel it must be done 48hrs in advance. Needless to say we are really looking forward to it!!!

I did this in the spring with my DH. He thought it was the best thing since sliced bread!!! I thought I paid about $80 and I didn't have any discount. There is also a new 1 hour Segway program, but that doesn't allow you to go riding around World Showcase. I did enjoy myself, too, but did have a bit of a problem with the "runaway" Segway, along with another young woman. Once I figured that out, I was pretty good at it!

Yes, the AAA discount applies. We did this in February. I paid $68 per person with my AAA discount for a two hour Segway Tour (one hour of training and one hour in the park). This was the MOST fun we've ever had at WDW.

oops I think I miss qouted the price. The cost with AAA is around 68 as I remember. One of the other tours I sceduled was around 45. Sorry about that.

I could not agree more! My Mother, Brother, and I did this in January and it was a blast! We also got some great pictures (Don't forget your camera that day)! I would do it again in a second.

We're booked in October, and as others have said, it cost $68 (vs. $80) with the AAA discount. They did tell me I needed to bring my AAA card and show it that day.
I am really looking forward to this!

My dh and I would love to do the Segway tour. One question though, what to do with our dd, ages 6 and 8? Any suggestions or ideas?

Just to clarify, the Segway Experience is a 1hr class only. This is NOT the tour that goes round the world showcase.

If you want that one, you must book the Around the World on a Segway tour which is 2hrs - 1hr training, 1hr at WS.

Just wanted to say this in case anyone ended up on the wrong class and was disappointed .
