Saw this walking over to the Trading Post early on Sunday morning. Not sure if it was alcohol related, joyriding, or just plain lost control... Even the tail lights were still on!

I wonder how much it'll cost to return the cart to working order. :scared1:

I'll bet it was a dang kid. :lmao:

Where are those mall cops (cart police) when you need them?

PS-great set of pix, btw. thanks for sharing.

I could easily believe it to be someone who had too much alcohol while joy riding and just plain lost control.

or a dang kid.

Welcome pongolo, great way to be right place right time.

I hate to see that check-out bill. :scared1:

You can still see the tire tracks! And doesn't the yellow posts mean you can't drive there cart anyway? It is things like this that will get it taken away from the rest of us. :sad2:

This is for sure the last time I let Sammy talk me into letting him drive the cart for more rum. :rotfl2:

Also, not to hijack the thread, but I have a question for pongolo.

How did you post pictures if that was your very first post? I thought you couldn't post pics until you had 10 posts? That is a great first post!

HOLY IMPRESSIVE FIRST POST! :worship:

That took some real effort to get that cart in there... bless their hearts!:rotfl:

Not only going where they should'nt, but it appears one of the post's is knocked over. So I would say; speed, alcohol, malicousness or all three were involved.
This is why Disney is forced to implement rules that take the fun out of things. Hopefully they can punish in a way that deters future idiotic behavior.

Good question! :confused3

I have been a lurker here for awhile and finally created an account yesterday to put the photos that I took. The photos are on my personal photo website and I just linked to them using the photo button on the post toolbar.

That will be a tough act to follow. What are you going to post about now that could possibly measure up? :worship:

I assume the golf carts are insured, but what kind of a fine does WDW assess for such blatant disregard of the rules, etc.? Since it's on private property the driver couldn't be charged with DUI, right?

you know the one that rented is going to say it was taking during the night and they know nothing about it. (the whole time standing there with a beer in hand and wet jeans, disney popo will look at them and say you are right you could have never done that)

Uh wobblez, I have to ask....

How does Sammy reach the foot pedals and how can be see over the dash? He must be a "wunder kat".

A few years ago, before we had our own cart, we came back one evening to find our rented cart was not where we left it. As a matter of fact, it was not anywhere.
When you rent a cart from Disney they tell you if you lose the key there is a $15 replacement charge. I went to the front desk and said," I have the key but the cart is gone". They laughed and said that it happens more often than they care to admit, and replaced our cart.
They said that security would be on the lookout for our cart.
I never heard anything else.

I know that it will be hard to top the "cart in the water" but I'll give it a shot. Let me see what fun photos I have in my camera.
