Am going to the cinema on Fri night as part of my 'birthday weekend'. The only trouble is I don't really know what to watch.

Has anyone been to the cinema recently and seen something they would recommend? Wouldn't mind seein Brokeback Mountain but don't think DH is very keen on seeing that. Please help!

Sara. :)

Final Destination 3 comes out on Friday and that is meant to be pretty good.

I saw Fun with Dick and Jane a couple of weeks ago and that is very, very funny. :rotfl2:

Another vote for Final Destination3, I am off to see it on friday.

Not seen Final Destination 1 & 2 - will this matter?
Actually don't think I've ever heard of it - what's it about?

I really enjoyed this, though it had a bad write up in the papers

never heard of it either..
many movies never make it here at all, and those that do are typically very delayed....
when we're in the states and i go on my DVD buying sprees, i usually haven't heard of at least 75% of the movies.....i just buy everything in sight and then we have marathon movie watching for a while after we get back....

:rotfl2: I actually got final destination (the first one) as an inflight movie years ago!! :rotfl2: how insensitive!! (it did actually get a lot of warnings at the beginning but still :confused3 )

Blimey, very surprised they would show that, bet there were not many watching it!!

No Johnny, out of our group of 15 I think only 2 watched it - they said it was quite heavily edited during 'that' scene but was still scary enough. I watched Miss congeniality, 'nuff said.

Thanks very much for the PM Johnny. :thumbsup2
They sound really good and definitely my type of film - can't believe I've never seen them.
Have narrowed it down to Final Destination or Fun with Dick & Jane, depending on what sort of mood I'm in tomorrow night!
