I've just made several ADRs for our mid-May trip! :yay: I've just been browsing the menus and I'm hoping to see pictures and get opinions/comments on the meals I've chosen. If you have dined at these restaurants and had these meals, I'd love to hear from you! :thumbsup2

Lunches:
Tusker House (AK) How's the roasted chicken? or maybe turkey wrap with corn chowder?

Marrakesh (Epcot) How are the chicken skewers? I'm thinking of ordering the "Chef's Special".

Brown Derby (MGM) Cobb Salad? Barbecue Breast of Chicken Salad?? Which dessert; vanilla bean creme brulee' or grapefruit cake??

Dinners:
Le Cellier (Epcot) I've had the filet mignon here (in 2002) and it was a terrible piece of meat, but I'm willing to go back and try this restaurant again. How is their prime rib??

We've been to all the other restaurants that we'll be dining at. All pictures and comments on the above meals greatly appreciated. Thanks! :sunny:

I may be in the minority here, but I thought the grapefruit cake was GROSS! I'd so go with the creme brulee. I shared their hazlenut (I think that's what it was) creme brulee with my mom at the same meal. It was 100x better. JMHO.

Have a great trip!

BTW, I can totally relate to deciding what to order months in advance. Many others may just be rolling their eyes  thinking, "How could you possibly know what you'll want to eat in 3 months?" :thumbsup2

On our last trip we had a PS for Le Cellier on the second night of our trip. I had the prime rib (I order this everywhere I go) it was so goooooood  when we were done eating we went up to the desk and made another PS for later in the week. When we went back not only did I again ordered the prime rib but so did my DH (who never orders it). Sorry I do not have a picture of it. HIH, Melissa

I had the BBQ glazed filet at Le Cellier, and DD had the prime rib. Both were excellent. The filet was melt-in-your mouth tender, and the prime rib was the most flavorful prime rib we've EVER tasted! In fact DH, who had the so-so NY Strip, said he's definitely getting the prime rib next trip.

We had the Cobb Salad and Grapefruit cake at Brown Derby. We enjoyed both very much. The cake has a sort of cream cheese frosting. They make quite a production out of tossing your salad at the table--fun to watch.

Thanks so much for the comments, everyone! :) I really do like to pick out what I'll eat at each restaurant, in advance. Most of the time I stick with what I'd already decided on, but once in a while I'll choose something else. At most Disney restaurants, I have my favorites on each menu, and I'm not exactly what you'd call "adventurous" when it comes to dining. :teeth:

Also, I like to hear what other people really like, or more importantly what they dislike, at certain restaurants; you can never go wrong with the opinions of DISers. :thumbsup2
