Seeking Advice - When to Upgrade?

I have a related question. I am about to go to dlr as a non-ap holder for the first time in about 7 years. I bought 1 park tickets cause I figured I didn't need to hop (almost never did with ap). But there are so many great things at dca I am worried I won't have enough time there and limited fantasmic and the surprise Tuesday Halloween party has messed up my initial plan forcing me into DL for 2 of my 3 days. Can I upgrade a 1 park to park hopper for 1 day of my 3 day ticket? The dl website says nothing on upgrades besides upgrading to ap, and other info i find on the web is old.

Not for one day only. If you upgrade to hoppers, it would be for all 3 days so you'd pay the difference between a 3-day, 1 park per day ticket, to a 3-day park hopper ticket. And it wouldn't matter if you upgraded on the first day or the last day.

Not for one day only. If you upgrade to hoppers, it would be for all 3 days so you'd pay the difference between a 3-day, 1 park per day ticket, to a 3-day park hopper ticket. And it wouldn't matter if you upgraded on the first day or the last day.

It is $45 more for park hopper ticket ,regardless of whether you have a 2 day or a 5 day ticket. Annoying, but it is a flat fee, not based on the number of days. So if you do decide to get the PH, make sure you add it on the first day so you can take advantage of it your entire trip.

Thank you both for the advice on upgrading my 1 park ticket. I assume this has to be done on site at a ticket booth? Or can I call a number to have them upgrade?

I have no idea, worth a try to call to see if you can get it done that way and not have to wait in line.
