OK, so just listening to Pete's review of Ft. Wilderness on NYE. Great segment, but I'm wondering if Pete's pledge to stay in a tent at FW, in drag, with a webcam was an incentive for us to pledge more? On would we all hold out for only $999,999?

after listening to Pete and all his rants I can not EVER envision him in a tent....if he does I hope its in Oct.. when I'm at the FORT I want pics!!!! CF has a good imagination and truly that seems to be a great tenting idea! Heck I'd love a tent like that as well.....and a bunch of cabana boys to go with it would be nice lol!!! ;-)~

I just listened to Pete's podcast re: New Years at Fort Wilderness. That is the first Disney resort Bob & I stayed at. Bob loved it & was forever trying to get Pete to go there. I'm so glad he finally went (I know this wasn't his first time) & that he likes it. We loved it, & would go over there just to enjoy the resort.

A friend of mine just invited me and my boys to drive out to LA with her for a couple weeks this summer, she is paying the gas and her car. I am thinking DISNEYLAND I didn't think I could pass it up until she mentioned that they camped the whole way there!

I am there with you on that one! A bunch of friends and I went to a wedding this summer and one girl tried to convince us all we should camp out in a nearby state park.

I had that moment of "Sleep on the ground.... No."

More power to you on this one, Pete. I just hope your high heels don't get stuck in the dirt!

I've camped here twice with our boy scouts- lots of room for all the rest of us in tents too! (with cameras)
Just avoid the rainy months. Maybe late April or early October would be good. Actually October would be great and we can all do the MNSSHP!!

There is nothing like Tenting in the Rain !

If Walter starts spending large sums of money mysteriously we will know that it is large checks going to GKTW. You know he loves the outdoorsy stuff and would love to get Pete to camp out. Not to sure THIS was his idea of camping with Pete but hey make lemonade out of lemons, right?
