We were thinking of going after our AK day. The park closes at 6 so if we don't get over there until 7, do you think we'll still see animals? We're going in August and sunset is around 8:10. If the chance is minimal, I think we'll eat elsewhere since a window seat is half the experience for us.

At 7 PM in summertime, it will still be light enough to see the animals, and the animals are just as likely to be there at that time as they are at any other time. Be aware though that only a minority of tables have a view of the savanna (unless they’ve significantly lowered the height of the walls that divide Sanaa into sections since the last time we were there). So you can’t absolutely count on seeing them from your table.

In my experience you should be fine. I would consider going to the main viewing area before dinner. The animals are free roaming however are feed to draw them to a particular area throughout the day the animals are in fact feed around dinner time by the main viewing areas at both Kidani and Jambo. Kidani main viewing area looks at the largest open area where you may see Giraffe run.

We have done just this and we didn’t get a table near a window so we could only see them before / after our meal on the patio.
