See, here's the deal.

My mom, for some reason, is completely insisting I wear a fanny pack to WDW. I've tried many many many times to get her to let me wear something/ANYTHING else. But my attempts have been utterly useless. She's. Not. Budging.

I really don't want to wear it, because as much as I try not to, I'm going to be self-concious about what other people think. I'm also meeting some other DIS'ers there, which I know will probably care less about the fanny pack, but still, I'll be self concious.

SO, If you saw a teenager, as myself, walking around the parks with a light pink fanny pack, what would you think? Would you think she had no style? Would you giggle in your mind?

What do you think of fanny packs, would you ever wear one at WDW?

What is your general opinion about my predicament?

well, dont take this personally as i would do it to almost any teenager wearing a fanny pack, i would probably laugh in my head. i dont want to sound mean. its just i absolutely despise fanny packs.

tell your mom that you do not want to wear it and you insist that you dont wear it. try a small backpack, or one of those drawstring bags. they work just as well.

i've had to wear a fanny pack twice. The second time was of my own accord. I don't really care how i look when i go to WDW since nobody's really going to care.

Id laugh fanny packs are funny looking. Id laugh when my dad would wear them at Disney.

I wear a fanny pack all the time. I hate bags. They're a hassle on rides.

(all the above was said for in parks. I don't wear a fanny pack at home, I use drawstring bags because bags are easy at home)

I know tons of other bags I could wear. Seriously, I've tried that.

Then she starts her little speech about how she's paying for the trip.

what would you think? I personally could care less. To tell you the truth I think that fanny packs look cool on some people.

What do you think of fanny packs, would you ever wear one at WDW? I don't like them. If I found a cute one that would be able to hold all my stuff and didn't get in my way,then sure why not?

But I much prefer either holding nothing or using a canvas tote.

It's not like your ever going to see most of those people again.
If you don't like it,why don't you decorate your fanny pack to suit your style? And if you get embarssed just take it off and hold it with your hands.

i got my mom not to wear a fanny pack this summer, i told her there out of style and something else i forgot, so i bought my AE tote bag with us, and she ended up using my AE tote bag.

I changed my opinion about them after going to Disney last week.
I think they are fine.
I think they look fine.
I'm sure they come in handy.
And I saw plenty of teenagers walking around with them.
I have to say I didn't really notice half of them.
But I never laughed at any of them.

I wouldn't wear one. Just because I like my drawstring bag.
But if my mom kept asking me to wear one I probably would.

If I saw a person wearing a fanny pack, I'd just see them as a person who chooses to carry stuff in a bag.
I was forced to wear one my first trip to Disney. Yeah, I didn't like it, but it didn't ruin my whole trip. A lot of the time, I would take it off my waist and carry it around like a purse.

Get a cute one, and try to ignore it. I mean, right now you can argue with your mother over it, but once you get to Disney, wouldn't you rather just keep the peace?

Well, I would laugh inside my head because they look so funny on teenagers.
But if I had to and my parents said no way, you have to wear it, I would just find a really cute one and flaunt it off the whole day I'm in Disney.

Don't worry once your in Disney, you'll forget about it.

Ok. I've worn a fanny pack at Disney many times. And my mom ALWAYS does. I dont really like wearing them cause' I think I look bad in them. I usually push my sister into wearing into wearing it. But, really, they don't look bad on most people. And to be honest, when I see someone wearing one. I rarely actually process it through my head.

you could do something cool to it like bling it out

No I've seen many teens (guys included) wearing them, I use to when I was a little one, but I lost mine, If I had one I'd wear it Fo' sho.
