Just curious as wife and kids are away and I am headed, I think, to the 1030 PM Superman show....

Saw one that made me go hmm. Transformers. The movie. May be a guy thing. :confused3

Yep. Saw that when we saw Pirates last weekend, and DS and I both went "hmm." DH and our friend who were with us also went "Hmm" so it must be a guy thing specific to guys other than the ones I see movies with! :rotfl:

The trailer that made me laugh was that one for "Talladega Nights" with Will Farrell. That looks hilarious, but maybe they show all the funny parts in the trailer. :confused3

The Guardian looks really good! In a way it sounds like a Coast Guard version of Top Gun....... I think it comes out September 22nd......

After losing his crew in a fatal crash, legendary Rescue Swimmer, Ben Randall (Kevin Costner), is sent to teach at "A" School, an elite training program for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. Wrestling with the loss of his crew members, he throws himself into teaching, turning the program upside down with his unorthodox training methods. While there, he encounters a young, cocky swim champ, Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher), who is driven to be the best. During training, Randall helps mold Jake's character, combining his raw talent with the heart and dedication required of a Rescue Swimmer. Upon graduation, Jake follows Randall to Kodiak, Alaska, where they face the inherent dangers of the Bering Sea. In his initial solo rescue, Jake learns firsthand from Randall, the true meaning of heroism and sacrifice, echoing the Swimmer's motto..."So Others May Live!"

May be, but not for me, unless I am totaly surprised.... isn't that the old kids space robot doll thing?

"Monster House" trailer looked good the first 437 times I saw it.

I think I'm gonna REALLY like Talladega Nights. The trailer includes several scenes that are vintage Will Ferrell (...at least I think that's a good thing)

That's the one that looks good to me! I usually do not like those animated types, but this one has caught my attention!

I'm not a huge Mary Mark (excuse me, Mark Wahlberg) fan, but for some reason, I get all excited everytime I see the Invincible trailer. I don't know the "real" story or anything, but I like the concept a lot.

That one looked good too!
When part time bartender and full time Eagles fan Vince Papale tries out for the team during an open call, he makes the team in a complete twist of fate. Invincible is a story of Papale's career with the Eagles and his personal struggles and triumphs.

That one made me laugh too but I really wonder if they pretty much showed the whole movie via trailer like so many seem to do these days. Even Superman struck me that way--they showed all the action scenes in the trailer for the most part!

Transformers didn't seem as cheesy as I expected it to be. :rotfl:

The Decent (its been quite a while since I got scared by the TRAILOR to a movie)
John Tucker must die (probably just the teenage girl in me likes this)
The Guardian(looks great!)

Papa, you'll love the trailer for "Invincible". They even do the Eagles cheer. I'm not a big football fan but I think I might have to go see that one.

I also saw one for a new Ben Stiller movie. I can't remember the name of it but her gets a job as a night security guard for a museum and at night when he's there all the exhibits come to life.

Actually, I have met Vince a bunch of times. He used to visit our TV station. Nice guy, but I'm not sure I would want to see a movie about him. But the trailer may change my mind.

DD13 hyperventilates every time she sees the Lady in the Water trailer. But then, she hyperventilates every time she sees the Amex commercial with M. Night Shyamalan in it. Let's just say she's a fan. We'll be going to see the movie on opening day next week.

1) "Invincible" - And I DETEST anything "Eagles". I love dreamers.
2) "The Guardian" - Looks great.
3) "the nativity story" - I hold my faith near and dear.

Ok, well you are gone now, but yeah, was a kids toy. I am thinking I will pass on this movie.

I agree, "Lady in the Water" looks so interesting! I can't wait to see that.

I'm also interested in "Monster House" because of the trailer

The Ben Stiller movie looked good, 'Night at a Museum'. I also think 'Monster House' looked good.
