We're only going for two nights. Visiting Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab, Grand Canyon and Sedona before heading home to Philly.

Do you know whether you want to stay in Upper Sedona (near the Y junction of the 179 and the 89A) or whether you want to stay in Oak Creek?

I know everyone wants to get a room with a view. I wouldn't necessary fuss about this too much. You'll have a great view the moment you step outside and start driving around.

We had dinner at Elote Cafe one of the nights we were there. It's right at the Kings Ransom Hotel. Kings Ransom was on my potential list before I decided to go with the VRBO option instead. Might be worth checking it out?

Thanks. We wanted to stay in town or close to it. We will have a car, but prefer to be able to walk to stores and restaurants if possible. I'm doing a lot of research on the internet to get some ideas.
