We just got back last night from out trip to WDW. At the Orlando Airport we were asked the usual questions, our passports were looked at, and we were off to our boarding gate.
What we found unusual, and somewhat disturbing I have to say, is that as we were called to board the plane, the ground crew clerk actually made an announcement saying to NOT have our picture ID ready - she went on to say that this would "slow down" the boarding process and we should just have our boarding cards to show her. Huh? OK - so I am home safe and sound, but excuse me, with all this heightened security they don't need to see my photo ID? I held my passport up to my face at the picture page anyway to make a point.
