I couldn't find the original threads on this subject, search is not working.

I arrived at MCO on Thursday, 4/27, around 10:00am, gates 1-59 end. When I walked past the security area, lines were very long, with the line extended past the black board. I returned home yesterday, Monday 5/1, around 3:30pm, it was only about a 10 minute wait.

I took my daughter out on Friday and the lines weren't very long at first. As I stood there the lines got much longer.

I would still allow plenty of extra time.

We left on the sunday after easter. although the security lines were long, they kept moving. the lines at the ticket counter were huge. If you can bypass that, you will possibly save a lot of time. One funny ( sort of ) thing, I had lost my wallet while there, so had no drivers license. Had to get a special boarding pass and go to a special security line where they patted me down, looked through my carry on bag rather than scan it. I was through security before the rest of my family who had to wait in the regular line.

We flew out of MCO on the last Sunday night in April and it did take at least 20 - 30 minutes... so leave yourself time!

Okay, so we are staying in one of the Hyatt Day Use rooms after our cruise since our flight does not leave until 5:05pm.......about what time do you think we should leave the room and head down? :confused3
