Security camera for RV - Need suggestions!

I purchased a Nest indoor security camera that I intended to use in our RV. I've been using it at home so I can check on our dogs while we're away, and it works great! I've tried it at a couple of campgrounds without any luck, but I assumed the wifi wasn't strong enough. We're at Cedar Point now, which has strong wifi, and my camera still won't work. I read under Nest's troubleshooting that the cameras won't work in public shared wifi. Is there anything I can do to have a security camera in our RV? Different camera system? Any different wifi options? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a "HooToo" Tripmate Nano Wireless N Pocket Travel Router.

It can Connect to a public (or other) WiFi Network and provide more of a "Private" internal Wireless Network. It's great for places like the campground or to share a "Hot Spot" (like on a cell phone). Plus added security (if you are so inclined).

We use the free app " Manything" . We set up the Ipad in the bedroom of the motorhome and connect. We can even speak to the Dogs while we are gone. Hook up to the wireless at the fort. Link it to your iphone and you have video and sound. It worked great on our last trip to the Fort........
