Have you ever found out a secret that you were NOT supposed to know about?

What did you do? Did someone tell you or did you find out for yourself?

Found out and still holding it tight. Not gonna let it go.

I dont tell. It is a dangerous thing to tell people things when they have specifically told you not to.

Well...

I found out something that I was not supposed to know about, and now I feel really guilty that I know.

:(

The only thing that I can think of is very trivial, but I'll share anyway! I found out about my Bridal Shower! LOL It's okay to share though, I've been married 8 years now! heehee!

UGh! :( I work at the courthouse and I found out that my son's football coach and head of three other teams of other ages was arrested for drug trafficking  . He was out on bond pending the resolution of the case and I went through the whole season pretending I did not know. That was tough as we considered him a friend. I spoke on his behalf at sentencing so he knows that I know.

I used to work with someone who used to share all the "secrets" she knew about the managers. She would tell me because she had to let it out, and she knew I wouldn't tell. But I used to hate it. And then I found out that maybe she didn't know all that she said she knew, because she told me that a guy I was interested in was divorced and then I found out he was married! (Thank goodness I never asked him out or anything!) And now she doesn't work with me anymore, and I know no secrets!

I found out my sister and her husband went down to the courthouse to get married and had the wedding 1 and 1/2 years later. No one knew but me. I also found out that those 2 were dating for longer than what they said and her husband could have gotten in a lot of trouble because she was way under age (15) and he is 11 years older.

I have learned secrets but I keep them to myself.

There is someone at my church who regularly tells me things about other church members that I don't feel like I'm supposed to know. It makes me uncomfortable.

I try to keep most things to myself. Sometimes if it's really bothering me, I'll tell someone I trust just to get it off my chest, but I think trust is important. Which for me means keeping stuff to myself.

I know a HUGE secret about a couple of friends. It was a fluke how I found out and no one knows that I know, not even the people involved. I will keep it a secret forever.

For one reason or another people really trust me and share all kinds of things with me. I'm glad that they do feel they can trust me enough to share some of this stuff. Some of the other secrets I have are ones I have stumbled upon. I pay lots of attention to the little details and always figure out something I shouldn't know.

Many, many years ago I found out that a friend's fiance had cheated on her before the wedding. Everyone really despised her fiance and I know a lot of people including her parents would have loved for the marriage not to have taken place.

I kept my mouth shut, and I'm glad that I did. They have had a great many-decades long marriage and he's been a wonderful husband and father.

Years after her parents had both passed on, my mother was gathering marriage licenses for geneology and discovered that her parents "had" to get married. It explained a lot, but made her feel bad because her parents obviously didn't want their children to know.

I am pretty good at keeping secrets but it always amuses me when I hear someone else tell me the secret that a friend told me not to tell anyone!
