Hello everyone! Just wanting to know what are some of everyones favorite counter service meals, maybe at places some of us don't know of or any hidden gems. Do some of you leave the park and go to certain close resorts for better counter service or any unique experience, then go back to the park. I think the counter service in Morrocco is a incredible bang for the buck, if you are at Epcot. Just looking for ideas or something I may not know about. Thanks

You hit the nail on the head with Tangerine Cafe at Morocco. It is a must-do on every trip. We have taken the resort monorail to Poly to grab a bite and a Lapu-Lapu (THE best drink going!). At AK we hit Flame Tree. I really haven't had anything special in DHS, just the usual fare. DH has fish 'n chips at Yorkshire Fish each trip, as well.

Wolgang Puck's Express is considered a counter service meal, but your food and dessert are served to you (as well as drink refills), and you get real silverware and glasses. It's the single best Counter Service restaurant in WDW.

We also eat at Flame Tree in AK and it is our favorite counter service. You get so much to eat. We also like Earl of Sandwich in DTD and even if the line is out the door; you will be eating in minutes. They are so organized.

My daughter treated me to Cirque du Soleil in April as well as dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express for my college graduation. She paid for everything and surprised my with the tickets and was only 15 at the time. It was amazing food and I am so glad that it is included on the counter service dining plan this time. I cannot wait to eat there with the whole family. My daugther is awesome!!

Besides WPE , we do hop a lot. Love the Tonga toast for breakfast and the Aloha pork and Dole whip at Capn Cooks at the Poly. The Flatbreads and cupcakes at Contempo cafe are wonderful as well. The taco salad and fixins at Peco's Bills or Pirata are super wonderful!

Wolfgang Puck Express in downtown Disney was really good. We had choices of pasta, pizza, entrees such as bacon wrapped meatloaf and even creme brulee for dessert. All on the QSDP!!! Also good was Pepper Market at Coronado Springs resort where we were able to get steak (ranchero style) and fajitas. At Epcot a great value was Tangeriene Cafe, and although it wasn't as good as I get from my local Middle Eastern Market it was different from a burger and fries rut and decent enough. Also at Epcot I liked Sunshine Seasons food court located in The Land pavillion. A large variety was available and not your usual food court items either. At Magic Kingdom we liked Colombia Harbour House and dined on chicken strips, fried shrimp, and fish sticks. Served with cole slaw and fries, the food was on par with Long John Silver's quality. Flame Tree Barbecue was really good at the Animal Kingdom and the cole slaw and beans were very tasty. The key lime dessert was great as well, one of the better desserts we had. Main Street Bakery on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom had some wonderful sandwiches and lots of delicious desserts to choose from. The cinnamon roll was really good and big enough to share, but I didn't. It wasn't worth a long wait though. Also we really enjoyed the food court at All Star Music and had the roast turkey and dressing dinner there twice and grilled steak one night. I think they do the steaks every Saturday as it was listed on a printed board as a chef's special. It was surprisingly good for cafeteria food. Also worth honorable mention even though it is a burger and fries is Peco's Bill's in the Magic Kingdom. My husband is still raving over the meal we had there.
