What are some secrets or things to look for around the two parks!? Little details maybe that most people would miss or wouldn't think twice about... thanks!

Just read that TL is full of edible plants, something I never knew ... :shamrock:

Hmmm...go back to Snow White's Grotto (to the right of the castle). The wishing well is back there, as well as a waterfall - if you watch the waterfall for a while you'll see a small (very small!) water show.

Also at the castle, look for the Disney family coat of arms above the castle entrance.

Back in Toontown, there's different features in the area between Roger Rabbit and the Gag Factory - some of it is in the little separate building. Stand on the manhole cover, for one thing. :-)

At the Snow White ride...watch the curtained window in the tower above the ride. And, just before you go into the building, touch the apple that's on the stand outside it.

In DCA, go back to Flik's Fun Fair, and look for the one four-leaf clover overhead.

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Look at the bathroom signs in different areas of the park. They are all different and themed to the area. Yes, I'm queen of the bathroom signs. :rotfl: I go on a sign safari with my camera each trip.

Look for the gold survey marker on the ground after you cross the bridge to the castle and are almost thru....this was the marker of the center of disneyland prior to the expansions....we always take pics of our groups feet around it! People passing by always look so confused!

I also like the side street on the right as you walk down Main Street. Listen to the window up on the left for some special music, sounds and voices!

At the RR loading area in N.O. Square, listen to the teletype coming for the building across the tracks, it's Walt's opening day speech. Oh, and the building was moved there from the Frontierland depot when it had to be moved.

Pay special attention to the ground as you change from one Land to another. I love that they even themed that! In Frontierland, you will see cowboy boot tracks and horshoe prints for example!

  • Take the time to watch the Zoetrope in the Disney Animation building over in CA. It's not really a secret, but I've seen many people look at it for a second, then walk away, not knowing what they are missing.
  • Watch the fireworks from the balcony at Innoventions.
  • Ask the Captain of the Mark Twain to ride in the wheel house.

Love this one IASWAM!! My kids watch that thing for 20 mins! Pretty cool!

In the Pooh ride as you leave the heffalumps (sic) and woozles room and enter the next look up and behind you. Mounted on the wall are some of the heads from the Country Bear Jamboree.

There is a hidden Mickey in the Haunted Mansion, look down at the table during the ball scene, it is right there.

If you throw a penny in Snow White's wishing well, the music continues. That is how my fiance asked me to marry him.

Take a close look at the fastpass entry at Haunted Mansion, there really is no need to use the fastpass but there are lovely statues.

Through the pirats of the caribbean look between the branches of the cypress trees at the beginning of the ride, look closely, something zooms through the trees.

There is a new sleeping beauty walkthrough in the castle
