So DH and I are looking for any secret places/things/ideas for adults throughout the world...we bought our AP 2 weeks ago and want to take advantage of them and learn about every little nook and cranny of the world...so lets have it...what are your secret/fav place to visit when you are HOME!!

I really enjoy spending time in Writer's Stop at Hollywood Studios. It's just past Sci-fi. They have a bunch of books in there, some of them are disney tour books, some are books you wouldn't think to look for in a Disney park. There's a little coffee shop set up in there, so get a drink & spend time browsing.

we love to get a hammock on the beach -- GF, Poly, Contemporary and Caribbean Beach have them-- and lay out under the moon and stars together. It's pretty good even during the day, too. :)

Something interesting about this shop that I read about in The Complete WDW-the shop was actually the set from the Ellen sitcom from years ago...a nice piece of trivia. :)

It's not exactly a secret, but many people outside Fort Wilderness don't take the time to visit & explore. You should do the Fort Wilderness Campfire Movie. Buy a s'mores kit and enjoy a Disney movie in a very informal & friendly setting. I had a small boy give me lessons on how to roast marshmallows. It was a very sweet moment.

While you are at Fort Wilderness, check out their Country Store. Some cute stuff featuring Chip & Dale. I also recommend the horseback riding.

At the Grand Floridian, make reservations for the Wonderland Tea Party. Or rent a boat or watercraft and sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Make a spa appt at the Grand Floridian or Saratoga Springs Resort.

Rent a bike at Coronado Springs. It's true -- you NEVER forget how to ride a bike! And the ride around the pool is beautiful.

Play miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland.

I recommend renting a car and driving around to all the resorts. I always spend at least one day doing that. I explore the gift shops, the food courts & restaurants (the food court at Port Orleans is French Quarter is excellent) and walk around the resorts. Most of the resort gift shops have resort exclusive merchandise. I like to check out the pools. Always thinking ahead to my next trip...

I could go on and on, but I want to hear suggestions from the rest of you.
