Secret Sister thread

The next package is due Nov. 1st? and then we have one more to send out due Dec 1st. That is when we either leave hints or tell who we are. Then after we get our last picture we send a thank you.... Time is just flying by way too fast!

to patty...

ok, let me say that a few years ago when dd locked my keys in the running car, I would have been very grateful for the emergency hammer. I used a rock, even a sledge hammer, to try to break the glass and nothing worked.

somebody somewhere needs an emergency hammer!! :)

And it just confirms what spinning said about the packages.

"You should be sending a pkg out to your SS every month to arrive before the last day of each month.

So your SS should recieve packages by September 30th, October 31st and November30th.

Of course you can send out stuff earlier if you would like. You may also send a Christmas or B-day pkg. if you feel so inclined.

November 30th you will send your final package and reveal who you are.

In December, you will send a "thank you" package to whoever has been sending you packages for the last 3 months."

And I agree, time is going way too fast!

Cardstock (woo hoo!)
Mickey Mouse balloon punch outs
And, some wonderful handmade tags that will be just perfect on the Epcot pages of the Disney album I'm working on, right now.

Thank you so much!! I love everything! By the way . . . I am absolutely loving the Hermafix you sent last month. How in the world did I get along without it??

Now, give me something to cut! Quick! :teeth:
Pat

36 days and counting . . . again!

to my SS: I just returned from out of town & found a package note in my POB. I will stop by the PO tomorrow to pick it up. I'm not being rude ... I've just been away. THANK YOU in advance!!

Been so busy the last four days but I wanted to thank my fabulous SS!! She makes the most AWESOME cards (hope she doesn't mind that I'm cutting the last one apart for a tag--it's just so perfect!).

I also got some wonderful embossed mickey & minnie borders and stickers, some cute, cute, cute frames,
Autumn sticker/borders (I love this=--autumn is my favorite season)
And a copy of Memory Makers to keep me company in the hospital Thursday night,.

Thanks SS---you are the bestest!!!

THE BEST!

Here's what she went me:
*Stickers for school, sports, bugs, and Mickey pages
*Embossed stickers of Christmas and Victorian type floral ones
*A scrapping magazine for digital cameras
*3-D floral stickers
*Lots and lots of die-cuts, a laser cut and an accessory kit for wedding pages -- she must have done her research and read that my dad just got married
*12 X 12 Disney Princess papers by Hot off the Press
*A huge assortment of the most beautiful papers I have ever seen -- textured, patterned, vellum, embroided, mettalic -- all absolutely gorgeous
*A 12 X 12 Craft Keeper which will help me to get and stay organized. I recently decided to re-organize all my scrapbook things so that'll be a big help.

And a nice note. And as answer -- Our Halloween was a mix of emotions which I'll get to a bit further down. The boys got so much candy that they got tired of sorting it. I finished it and decided to weigh it all. I am not kidding, they got just over 20# of candy! I put the chocolates in the fridge and as soon as we have enough room they'll be moved up to the freezer.

Halloween was a little rough as we lost our greyhound Thursday night. It didn't seem right to be having fun but it wouldn't have been right to sit around and mope either.

So, as to your package arriving late, it actually arrived on a good day. By Saturday, the day it came, I needed the distraction. I didn't post right away and I apologize for that but I still was not up to doing much -- except look at my package. For me, it arrived perfectly on time.

Thank-you again, you have been more than generous with both of the packages. I can't wait to get all organized and start using the things you sent.

I felt like yesterday was Christmas in July for me!! I opened my package & found so many goodies ... it reminded me of opening my Christmas stocking when I was a child :)!

I am eating the Reese's peanut butter cups as I write this note. I'm even thinking of saving the packaging to use for a Halloween page!

The autumn hand towels are haning in my bathroom already. I have autumn kitchen towels but I did not have anything for the bathroom - good choice!!

The pack of red card stock will be great for Christmas pages (some day I will have a Christmas sb!).

I also received:

* two Paper Shapers punches that I did not have - a heart & a dragonfly;

* orange craft ribbon - I haven't used ribbon yet on my sb pages, but there will be a first :);

* dragonfly paper clips;

* K & Company embossed stickers with white daisies that go with the theme of our wedding - someday I will redo our album of candids from the wedding;

* Susan Branch birthday stickers;

* two Daisy D's quotes;

* a Sandy Lion 3-d yellow flower;

* some metal charmed plaques - again something I have yet to use, but they will add a nice touch to sb pages - especially the "faith hope love" one that I will save for the wedding book;

* and some Americana stainless steel charms - I have never seen these & they are great :)!

Thank you so much for all these goodies :)!!!
