Secret Sister Recieved Thread...

I'm trying not to figure out my SS so that I'll be surprised. It is very hard but I'm not looking at the return address and throwing away the envelope/box as soon as possible. I've only gotten one package so far but I hope to have the willpower to do the same with the next one that comes. LOL

What a surprise for me!!

I was taking a break from painting (DH's idea of a great way to spend my 1 weekend off this month ) and having a cup of tea, nursing my sore legs (painting sucks)...and here comes my DS with a box. See, the UPS guy leaves the boxes at the front door...and we don't usually go out that door. Well, DS did for some reason, and there was a box from my SS! I was SO EXCITED, especially cause I was resting on the couch (painting the house sucks , have I mentioned that?)...So, I hope you weren't worried SS that the box didn't get here, I just didn't know it had arrived.

So my VERY THOUGHTFUL SISTER send my an HUGE, STUFFED, AMAZING goodie box! Inside I found:

A cute Thanksgiving card
A box of Almond Joy Cookies...these were opened immediately and I had a couple with my tea...they are SO GOOD, I've never had them before...DH agrees, and I have had to hide them...
A autumn loaf pan...I am so going to use this on Thanksgiving
Set of 2 pumpkin spreaders...
A pack of Dipz Garlic Schmarlic dip mix...going in the loaf pan on the serving tray with the spreaders, you are so great!
A bar of Hershey's Milk Chocolate...YUMMO, my FAV!
2 Booda Dog Bones...my furbabies are so excited!
Making Memories "Charmed Phrases" nature theme...
Craft Essentials alaphabet stickers in fall colors...
A Studio K Accordian Book Kit...Can't wait to make it up!
Die Cuts with a View Autumn stickers...
Life's Journey stitched ribbon...
A pack of Making Memories Fabric Tags...blues and browns...

I got my package on Friday afternoon. What a wonderful package filled with items to scrap my furbabies (I have 3 dogs) - load of 12 x 12 paper, Jolee's doggie items: collar, tags, cute dogs (two of which look so very much like some of my dogs), a cute crown dog tag, rub ons, stickers and more. Plus a very nice letter and of course, the autumn themed card and Jolee's items I received earlier.

Such nice items and so many I've never seen before, which is a nice bonus. Thank you so very much, SS!

I just picked up my mail from being away for 10 days and received my November package from my wonderful secret sister!!

It was filled with:
*All kinds of Heidi Swapp embellishments: Chipboard label holders, chipboard travel words, and flowers.
*Heidi Swapp clear word stamps ("family, cherish, and favorite").
*A Heidi Swapp edge distresser - really nice tool!
*A couple of packets of Cider House flavored cider mix---Mmmmm!
*And, some Peanut Butter flavored doggie treats for Gracie! She'll love these!

Thank you so much secret sister!!! I really love everything and can use it all.

Not only did I get a beautiful card with a great (kind of puffy sticker- very cute) Tigger today, but I also got a box of corners to use with my "older" photos in a heritage book - you are so very kind. Thanks for making this SS adventure so special !

Now my DH is just sure you picked that great looking Tigger, cuz you knew he has a Tigger shirt It will look so good when I get a great photo with me and Tig when visiting the world in January - a special page to remember my SS

thank you and I am having a good Nov - it's been busy - but a short work week for me this week ~ I am off to see my DD's (ohMom-Molli's) new kitchen and remodeling this Thursday!

I got the most AMAZING package in the mail yesterday! Secret sister, you are the best. And thank you so much for the goodies for my kids. They were so excited! The only problem, DD wanted all of my stuff too!

You had asked about what I am scrapping next. (BTW, I put a lot of my first package to very good use in my trip album). I am going to work on my first every family album, so I don't have a lot of stuff for that. I basically have family birthdays, Easter, Christmas, and then just general stuff. The only thing I have a lot of is Christmas embellishments.

To my Secret Sis!!!!! You are the best!!!! Thank you so much for my wonderful surprise that I received last night in the mailbox when I got home!!!! First there was this really cute mailer! All colorful and bright! I was just so excited to see that!

Then I opened it up and what did I see but Mickey heads!!! I love mickeys!!! It was the creative memories disney package! Thank you so much I didn't have that yet and I really like it!

Then I saw the PaperCrafts magazine (My favorite magazine by the way!!!) LOVED THAT!!!

Then there was stickers and ribbon too!

You Rock SS!!! I loved the card, it was great, I have never seen a card like that! Very appropriate!

To My Dear Secret Sister:

I just wanted to say I'm glad my package did not arrive until today. My reason you ask? Well, since you asked. (giggle) The last 2 weeks I have been stressed out so badly almost to the point of being sick. Well anyways, Last Thursday at work, my husband bless his heart had enough and called the BIG boss ( yes I work with my husband, although differant departments we work for the same company in different areas) Well, he called the big boss. In doing this he went over his bosses head and my bosses head.

(ear muffs) All hell broke lose, and I mean BAD! The reason he called the big boss is because in the area I work, the ladies I work with do not pay attention, they take no pride in thier work and are lazy. Therefore I have to pick up the slack. In my DH's area he is the last "line of defense" before the results go to the customer. ( we work in an oil labratory. I do the data entry, he tells the ppl whats wrong with thier oil and fuels etc)

Anyways.. So after his conversation with the big boss. MY boss calls my husband and just rips him up one side and down the other telling my husband he is a back stabber, and how all we do is complain and how he helped us find a house. Then he proceeds to threaten my husband and OUR jobs.

Well, a meeting was held the next day with all the supervisors, mine included. Mine was LIVID. He was glaring at me etc. So then my supervisor goes and tells our receptionist that I was complaining she was on the phone to much with her boyfriend. Now picture this. After 3:30 its just her and I in the office. Her boyfriend calls and she talks for 45 minutes on a daily basis. She hangs up 10 minutes later he calls her back. ( Rinse, set repeat) Although I did not say anything to anyone about this I was blamed for saying it.

Now fast forward to Monday. My boss comes back from Reno, where I just was (that lab is, well I won't go there) He is giving me and DH the cold shoulder. Everyone has stopped talking to both my husband and I at work because of all of this. My husband thinks that my boss is going to try to find some way to fire me, even though I am one of the top data person's. So I have been stressing over losing my job for something I didn't do. My husband feels bad but I stand behind him in what he did, something had to be done. Eyes needed to be opened.

WOW! that felt so good to let out! Sorry if I bored everyone but man I do feel better. Anyways the package arrived today and I am once again exhausted but opening that was such a joy.

I recieved the most adorable Lil tiny Tinkerbell scrapbooking shirt, and a large package of stickers and 2 packages of Title stickers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hey! I just spewed my hot chocolate all over the screen.. I'm in so much trouble! I can't believe they wouldn't cooperate.. How dare they!!!
I'll wait patiently..but if I open it up and a Chippendale pops out my neighbors will freak.. they are all elderly! I have the loud house on the block!
