I got my surprise package yesterday. Guess who'll be stylin' in Missouri!?! That's right - me! I got the cutest Vera Bradley bag in my favoritest color (apple green), a big bar of chocolate (how else am I going to make it through the long cold winter nights!?!) and some cute Christmas embellishments.

Thank you so very much to my Sister, OHMom. What wonderful treasures I received over the last couple of months. I am so looking forward to our spring Sister swap (I hope we're still having one)!!

Oh, Nancy thanks for the offer. I have to say, I do have an angel and her name is Nancy. She is my MIL. Tonight as I stressed out about packing, getting the laundry done, finding the one gift DS wants for Christmas and getting the kids to a couple of events tomorrow night, she called.
So being the wonderful MIL that she is, she has offered to come tomorrow and finishes the laundry, fold it and organize it by family member, so that I can pack quickly between events tomorrow evening.
So with that being side, I do think all of you Nancy's are angels and so sweet to offer!
BTW, the kids still do not know!

Just in case you sneak in here.. YEAH to your MIL!! That is so sweet of her!!! I hope the events go smoothly, you find that last gift (I haven't started yet)...and that you all have a wonderful and safe trip!! Details upon return!!!! I can't wait to hear how the kids react when they arrive!!!!

OK, you are all wrong, my SS is the best!!! I got my package today!! Thanks Mickeyteacher (Shawna)!!! Everything is amazing!! And even a package for ds!! He was thrilled, and couldn't even finish eating lunch before he could get to playing with the play dough set. You are the best!! Here is what I got:

I have to tell you that my Secret Sister was Incredible. I couldn't list everything she sent me because it would take me hours. She sent a HUGE box just filled with scrapbooking materials, Disney socks, candy, and a TINKERBELL mug with stuff in it. I love tinkerbell so she really made my day. AND she mad me a little memory book for my upcoming WDW trip that is so nice. It looks like something I would see done on tv but no one could actullay make. She did fabulous. It is beautiful. I can't wait for my trip now. What a secret sister I had!!!

Maria, you were wonderful!! You sent a whole hoard of things, and I love all of them. I hope I don't leave anything out or miss anything, but here's the list:
*A Supply tote with tons of pockets (green and brown)...I love these! They hold so much. I had gotten one recently and was thinking that I needed another one to carry my supplies around the house. I'm trying to put the rest of my things either in a guest bedroom or in the basement so I only have the tote(s) in the rest of the house. The tote bag was loaded with a lot of goodies.
*A gift card to Barnes and Noble, which I LOVE!! I can spend hours there!
*3 spools of Christmas decorative ribbon (which I love, too)
*A package of K & Co. vintage looking brads....These are so cool!
*A good sized handmade global journal
*Some glass beads that can be used in shaker boxes....now I have no excuse not to try making these!
*A Staz-on black ink pad
*A Staz-on bottle of all purpose cleaner....I love this brand of products!
*Heidi Grace plastic journaling plaques
*Some metal Christmas add-ons
*Colorbok page markers and stickie notes
*A couple of small metal tins to alter or store embellishments
*A bag of (I'm sure) delicious doggie treats for Gracie... Yum!
*A chocolate raspberry Godiva candy bar and some chocolate cherry kisses...MMMMMM.....
*And a beautiful hand-made card with a lovely note in it.

To all of you that are still waiting on your December packages (me included!) hang in there.
To those of you that know your packages have not been received yet a personal message would be appreciated. At this point, the element of surprise is gone anyway.
From personal experience, after the first month I didn't want to post that my package didn't arrive because I didn't want someone else to feel like they needed to be an "angel". Not receiving the packages on time really takes all the fun out of the process. I know I felt left out of a lot of the threads so I didn't contribute.
Once again --- the intention of this post is not to have an "angel" set in. The intention is just to let everyoen know that there are people who have not yet received December packages.
I know this may sound harsh, but I don't think international Disers should be included in the swaps. Maybe they could coordinate their own. If they are included they should take the additional shipping time into consideration and ship their packages a week before the domestic ship date.

Knovak, I'm your Angel. I was your Angel in November and now I'm the Angel to an Angel. Your package was sent via Priority Mail on the 15th. The very next day from when I found out I was to be your angel.

I don't know if I'm supposed to "fess" up and say who I had but I didn't want you to think that I had "forgotten" you either.

So with that being said Mine and Raine's packages went out in the late mail tonight. I have no excuse other than being really busy with work and preparing to go see my children ( which is the best gift ever)

Raine recieved her final package her secret sister was ddavis. and let me tell you , she was so excited with all the goodies in the package.

I recieved my package today and my secret sister was Ohana4 and i love every thing in my package I will try to list everything out but can't guarnatee it since I have a scrapbook im working on for my MIL's christmas gift and I am so behind doing that. It dosent' help that my kids call me almost every hour.. they are just as excited about mommy coming home as I am.

December's Angel didn't respond that they had shipped and Shawna wanted to be sure that Knovak rec'd a package. So I guess I should have used proper grammer and said angel for an angel. Although I do think knovak is an Angel.

DC shows that it was delivered yesterday, so I am sure that she did at least get my package and I'm hoping the first angel's package will show up too.

I did get my SS Angel package yesterday! I didn't have a chance to open it until later last night as I spent the latter part of the day at the doctors with my DD 6 having a terrible ear infection and then getting her meds.

Anyhow thank you so much for the package. It made my day and my girls as well. They loved their little suprises and my DD 4 has swiped the tapes and dispensers. She's been asking for decorative tape like that and there was not telling her she couldn't have it.

Sorry to hear about more illness. My oldest still isn't over his episode with pneumonia and now my youngest is starting the coughing. Oh, and did I mention my DH has the flu? Yup, I'm right there with you running to get meds, making the soup, picking up the tissues, and we get to go to the doctor Thursday. WooHoo!

I received my package today!

I received a bunch of ribbons and fibers, x-mas themed popsicle sticks, beaded wire embellishments that look like x-mas light bulbs, a couple of sheets of Hershey's x-mas themed die-cuts, candy cane alphabet stickers (really neat!) and Tinker Bell stickers.
