It's funny you mention this. Because I've read of ppl looking at some new fridges, can't remember the brand, but magnets don't stick. Weird...

You can get special plates to put on these fridges so that you can use magnets

she got covers for her burners? If not dollar tree has some very nice metal ones (1 big and one small for a dollar). Ive had mine almost 2 months and they still look beautiful in very buzy house. Itry the dollar tree for high quality cooking gear (I buy pretty much everything for my kitchen there. So far in 5 years Ive only broke one spoon (plastic) and that was a dishwasher disater.
