Secret Santa 2005 Are You Nearly Ready ??

Just a little reminder that there are 3 weeks until we need to be sending out our Secret Santa pressies. If we can all post our presents between Monday 5th and Friday 9th December (unless you have arranged to post early due to holidays) then we should all receive them around the same time. (please try and mail them 1st class)

I will start a Secret Santa Sent/Received thread on Monday 5th Dec and you can post to say that you have sent your present or received it.

My present is wrapped and ready for posting (though I will not be posting it from Nuneaton, just to put my recipient off the scent).

Are you planning on opening your present when you get it, or do you all want to open it on a certain day, or are you going to keep it for Christmas Day ?? I will be opening mine on Dec 16th (our mini-Christmas Day) as that is the day we head up to Manchester before we fly off.

No I got into a bit of a tizz the other day while shopping for one

But will have another look next week

Not sure when I will open mine...I get a little bit excited when I see presents :teeth:

Got my secret santa pressie already bought, ready for wrapping.
Seeing as how my Christmas pile decreases with each year I'll keep my surprise going until Christmas morning before opening, but understand that for some the temptation is too great

or the lucky spuds are heading off somewhere at Christmas time - eh Mandy :teeth:

Yep bought mine last weekend and planning on wrapping it this weekend ready to post at first possible opportunity :banana:

I don't mind waiting till Christmas day (I'm very good at waiting) but equally I don't mind if the consensus is to open it on a certain day :teeth:

but do we sign the present or not :confused3

first time to this do not want to get it wrong like I did with the postcard exchange

Mine is all ready to go. I'll have to post mine on the 3rd though as I can't get to the post office during the week due to work. If mine arrives by the 10th I will open it then as that is when we are having our family Christmas dinner as we will be in WDW over Christmas!!

I just hope the recipient likes it. I don't mind if people want to open them early but if there's no general concensus I will probably open mine on Christmas Day as I tend to be outnumbered for pressies by the kids these days :rotfl:

I haven't shopped for mine yet, Shelby and I are going to go to Solihull next week with Nanny and we will have a look around for our pressie then.

With regard to opening the pressie last year I waited until Christmas day before I opened mine - I put it under the tree and waited like a good girl!
