We are getting ready to book for next year and was wondering if their are any "secret rooms" we should check into. I know on some ships there are secret porthole rooms or nicer verandah rooms. We would prefer a verandah.

Consider the front corner rooms on decks 6, 7, and 8 (for example room 8006). These rooms are HUGE. Did I say they were HUGE? No verandah, and you really should read the reviews, since the location of the TV bothers some, and the angle of the porthole bothers others, but it's made up for by their hard to believe size. HUGE. I couldn't believe it the first time we walked into one.

Note that these rooms do not have any type of divider curtain, which doesn't work well for families with kids.

Yeah I have 7504 in a month on the dream, and my husband and I are sharing a room with my mom. Excited about the space but not about no privacy curtain barrier between us and my mom.

:scared1: That would be even more awkward than the kids.

As you'll see in the room reviews, some "drawbacks" (depending on who you ask) are the TV location, slanted porthole, no balcony, lack of privacy curtain, far forward location giving the potential for more ship movement, as far as you get from the elevators.....

They are HUGE. They easily fall into the "best kept secret" category because of their size. You will feel no crowding, no walking around each other, no need to hide luggage. Be aware of the drawbacks if they matter. If not consider them seriously.
