I'm going on a recon mission this week.
The dining table is MIA. It is believed to have been abducted but the Paper Patrol. A very secretive but colorful organization, made up of paper, embellishments, and die cuts. These misfits can swiftly draw you in with enabler threads, sales, and coupons. If you don't hear from me by next Sunday send reinforcements!

Actually DH is going out of town for the week so I'm without a computer. I will hopefully be back on-line Friday or Sat, we shall see. Ya'll behave. And that especially goes for you Nancy we all know how much of a trouble maker you are!

Have fun scrapping! It was amazing how much I got done last weekend with the house to myself. I think my balloon shakers turned out so well because I did have some more time to think about them, without the Mommmm! sounds.

I was in such a rush to get everything mailed out, I forgot to take pictures of it. Some scrapper I'm turning out to be.
It is a 4x5 1/2 balloon with four different sized holes cut out of the middle. In each hole is a little sticker of Pooh and then there are lots of colored bangle beads that float through all the holes. I even remembered to put a ribbon on the tie part of the balloon. Oh, and on the ballon is a little Roo holding a balloon.
So if you are in my group in the Disney Holiday Swap you get a shaker balloon with my Birthday elements.

Mission aborted!

Long story short, DH lost his job and got another one in 2 hours. And DS6 and DS4 came home with 5ths disease. What a great week, eh?!

I will post more later, I'm typing 1 handed while I try t get DD to go to sleep. DH let her nap for 20 minutes around 8:30 so she's wide awake.

Well this was a very interesting week off of the computer.
I got next to nothing done in the scrapping dept. DH calls me Tuesday morning to inform me he is out of a job with Company Aat the end of the month. OK, I said. We knew this was a risk being a start up company. But now I'm worried about paying bills.
So he calls me 2 hours later a friend who worked at Company B (the job he left in Feb) has started his own company, Company C. So that was on the burner. Then he calls me back again 15 minutes later. Another friend from Company B calls and has a position available too. Company C doesn't have anything available until Jan so DH is going back to Company B in 1 week. It means traveling 50% of the time but with any hope he will move into a new roll with about 25-30% travel. I hate the travel part but he did 90% on the road last year so 50% isn't so bad.
The plus side to all of this is DH will get a company computer so I will get my laptop back!!!

Wed I go for a walk after dropping the boys off at school, on my way to get gas the nurse calls. DS6 has 5ths disease. Great!! I get there and DS5 is in the office too. He has a fever, well send down DS10 because they all share a room so he probably has it too. I sent DS10 to school Thurs, but had the other 2 home all day. Friday I sent everyone to school. My mom had the day off so she got the boys while I drove to Mass. to get my brother. Well all 3 colleges in the area have Monday off so everyone and their brother were heading in the same direction. 10 miles = 1 hour.... Finally got on the highway to go pick up DH at the airport, which is on the way back from UMASS. Poor man was in the airport for an hour and a half.

Today we went shopping to organize our closet and we bought lamps for the living room. We have also begun hanging pictures and painting. So we must be trying to sell our house. We never hang pictures unless we sell our house. It just doesn't happen. It's weird!!!! The way I'm looking at it is, when we are ready to sell it will be all set. I won't need to do anything.

I did however gut my living room! I found the table underneath all the scrap stuff. So I guess something got done.....I will take pic tomorrow!!!

Sorry to hear about the uncertain of DH's job, but great he had other offers so soon. How are the boys doing? Feeling better? Those poor things, and poor you too.
