I wanted to see the baby dinosaur but when I went online to check it out they closed it and I got so mad

It's called triceratops encounter and has been permanently closed. They are making way for a new attraction.

That baby trike can sometimes be found over by the rock climbing wall near Thunder Falls Terrace.

I've also seen him sometimes around the Discovery Center.


Sadly, I've never gotten to do the original Triceratops Encounter. It was closed before my first trip to IOA, and then I missed it's short return a couple years ago when it was opened to help eat the high seasonal crowds after WWoHP's open.

I just don't know why they don't have the attraction. We got incredibly lucky on our first trip and DS and I walked by as they had it open. It was SO COOL. And everyone seemed to like it! I don't know why they don't have it up and running. Or why, as someone just said here, they would be replacing it. It's so sad b/c it was such a cool attraction.

DH is so sad he slept in that day (though it was the best choice for him that day), because he missed it and it has never been open again while he has been there.
