"Secret Decks"--Should I be concerned?

We booked a category 11 on Deck 7 with the intention of possibly using the Secret Deck that will be nearby. I have seen a number of posts recently from smokers extolling the virtues of having the secret deck available for their smoking breaks. Being a nonsmoker who is rather intolerant of smoke (physically), should I just give up on using the secret deck or is this not a common use of the secret deck?

When we cruised, I frequented secret deck 7 and never encountered smokers. The most people I saw there at one time was about 4 others...none smoking.
