Hello just got my confirmation for room 7619. I believe it is near the secret deck. That has a few lounge chairs on it. Does anyone know what time they lock the door? I think this is a good location anyone know what it is like.
Even though we had a verandah, I visited this deck a couple of times on the cruise and no one was out there-I had the place to my self (afternoons with a cold drink, snack and a good book.) Enjoy!
Buggie
We were in 7619, just last week, it nice because it's close to the AFT elevators, and basically 20 seconds to the AFT Overlook. Interestingly enough the deck 8 small overlook door was always locked during our cruise. Also very cool is the rear stairwell and passage that leads you to the rear of Topsiders. One side of 7619 is a crew area, but we never heard a thing from there.
for mecook, just go down either Deck 7 corridors as far aft as you possibly can. There's an open stairway going down, and there's a brown door behind the stairs. Just go through that door and you're there.
Here is a link to a pic of the aft deck that we took in 2003. Glad to hear they now have some round tables for eating....or maybe they just were for a private function??? I know they do have private functions out there at times....my friends were engaged out there with Mickey present...cost $350. per half hour for Mickey to show up!!!!
