Secret Deck 7 verandah

Go down the hallway all the way aft and there is a big brown door, open it up and thats the deck. Its locked during hte night time and re opens in the mornings

Very easy, just walk to the aft of the ship and you will find a door leading to the secret verandah. The door is locked overnight however. DW and I spent nearly an hour out on the deck 7 secret verandah last week while we were docked at Nassau.

Don't tell, it won't be a secret! I'm right near it next week on the Wonder, #7132, so I don't want it to be too crowded....

Seriously, I think I have seen that the unlocked hours are 7 am until 10 or 11 am.

The "Secret Deck 7" is rapidly becoming not-so-secret anymore. :(

On our first Magic cruise DH and I were out there pretty much by ourselves. Only a couple other couples there at the time. Real quiet, very enjoyable for reading and/or napping.

But, on our second Magic cruise it was much noisier. There were several people, like us, who were using the loungers and trying to relax, read, nap. But, many, many people kept coming out just to look. And they brought their kids, who were noisy. The door kept banging shut from people going in and out. Not very quiet or relaxing. :(

For the new years cruise on the wonder, we were right next door in 7138. I peeked my head around our verandah a few times and never saw anybody use it. DH and I were almost ready to climb around our Veranda to take some of the lounge chairs for our verandah..hahaha,... of course we didn't but we did think about it...

And nobody plans on visiting this deck on the April 17th Wonder, right?? Our rooms are on deck 7 aft. So we'll have the whole thing to ourselves...ok, I can fantasize. :flower1:

It was funny in August, my grandson told us about the secret deck he went to with the club, they were told ghost stories and that part of the ship is dark. So the kids also will find out about the deck, he was in the age 10 group.

Nothing put out on the world wide web remains a secret for long.. :chat:

I think I heard that that's where they're going to put the litter boxes for the service dogs because it can be locked off from the kids...

The real "secret" is the aft area on deck 8!
Barb

When We Were There For Our Nov 05 Cruise, There Were "no" Chairs.
Are There Usually Chairs?
We Enjoyed It Anyway.

Lynda, you're a bad, bad girl. Cash, go give her a slap or two, ok? Make that a big lick :D , that was pretty funny!

OK, I have 7132 for the Jan 27th sailing - whats with this "secret" verandah and if its crowded does the noise carry over to other' verandas?

I loved this "secret"!!! I would get up early every morning and enjoy the peace and beauty! The morning of debarkation, I went out and watched as we were returning to Port Canaveral! The Dis boards are sooo informative! :flower:

Carol :D

OK, dumb of me. But I just checked both the web site deck layout and the book. Where is this secret balcony? Between what rooms?

The secret verandah on deck 7 is at the very back of the ship, between cabins 7138 and 7638.
