second week in june

We are due to go to disney the second week of june, does anyone know how busy it gets, and how hot , its our first time and we are so looking forward to it. :thewave:

First week of June last year and crowds were what I would say was moderate and it was hot.We went to parks early and came back to resort for lunch and some rest. Went back to parks in late afternoon or early evening and had a great time.Have a wonderful and magical time on your vacation.

Hot, hot, hot (this coming from someone who's always cold)! Just try to go back to your resort in the afternoon to relax or swim. We had those misty fans and we bought the neck tie things (soak in ice water, ring out and tie around your neck). They helped a lot! Drink tons of fluid and try to take it slow. The heat and humidity will sap the life out of you if you try to overdo it. We're going back in June again this year and plan on hitting the parks at opening, returning to the resort in the afternoon, and then going back to the parks in the evening. It also rains almost every day for a little while in the afternoon, so be prepared for that. Research as much as you can before going (this is a great place to get questions answered) so you can be prepared for the experience as much as possible. Most important of all, have a great time !

Went last year this week MK very busy long lines a SM/TM?Peter Pan, etc. . .If it said it was a 45 minute wite try about 1 1/2 hours

We went last summer May 28-June 12. The first week wasnt to bad crowd wise but the second week was much more crowded. I could really see a difference. As for hot, oh yeah it was very hot and very humid--and we are from Houston so pretty used to the heat and humidity.
I would go back again the first week but not the second week.

IMHO, there are only a few select weeks during the year where one can say it isn't crowded. I only experienced that once during the first week of Feb. If you read up on info and know when to go to what parks on what days and how to structure your days, you should have no probs. As for heat, I guess that is just part of Florida! Dress cooly, drink lotsa water, take a pool break in the afternoon, and there you have it...a great vacation!

was memorial day weekend packed?? Last year was there from June 6-13 and it was crowded!! This year will be there May 28-June6, hopefully we will have a better turn out.
