second time is the charm

well i have only been to WDW once to celebrate my sweet 15 and stayed at the contemporary resort. went there with my mom's godchild and her mom, the kid was 3 at the time and made my birthday gift a trip from hell if we were at the parks an hour that was a long time for her and since mom is so soft she didn't say a thing to her or her mother about ruining my trip. fast forward to the present my mom is taking early retirement and i graduate from my mba program so we decided to take a mother-daughter trip and not tell a soul about our plans so no one can ask to go sorry this time i'm doing it my way and taking my time in the parks .

got the plane tickets on an impulse buy for 345 roundtrip for 2 non stop then came the hotel decision part

2 weeks ago :
me: so were do you wanna stay ?
mom : i don't know you choose
me : eh are you sure?
mom : well there's the one we stayed at and that other one across it
me : ( thinking to myself spit it out already i know you want to ) so which one then ?
mom : don't know you choose

1 week ago
mom : so i have been thinking that i never told you were i wanted to stay
me : then why did you tell me last week to choose the hotel by myself
mom : i did not tell you that young lady , do not put words in my mouth
me : so where do you want to stay
mom : i don't know yet
me :

last night :
mom : so what are you doing ?
me : reading some info for when you finally tell me where you want to stay
mom : so where are we staying?
me : so mom what about the GF
her eyes lit up like a kid she was in , i knew that it has been always her dream to stay there but she was afraid i would say no rightttttt say no to the GF

today :
called to book the room and got a GV so now i have to wait until the end of august to see what packages they come out with for january

i have gone into planning mode, printing menus, getting guide books and thinking who is going to take care of mom's dog since she considers her like one of her children
