Second Thoughts...Kind of Late?

So a back story is kinda needed to understand this i think. I have to gone to a private school all my life untill this year. Nine years...one small school. But the thing is untill about 7th grade i always had new friends every year and i graduated with a class of 60 kids. we got aboutone or two new kids every year give or take and some kids left and such so we ussually had about an even number all nine years in my class. in 7th grade i made friends with some girls and to my surpirse we grew our friendship stronger 8th grade year which had never happened to me before i was usually had new friends than the year before. But in 8th grade we graduated to high school. My friends went on to the private HS and i went to the public HS. Even if they went to the public high school it would be different public high schools. I went to public school because i felt i needed a chance after nine years. I love my school, i take so much pride in it, i have some good friends, but whenever i hang out wiht my old friends i wish they never had to leave, my new friends idk they are nice and all but i cant help missing my other friends. Sometimes if feel like a made a mistake not going to the private high school ya know? Alot of times i kinda feel friendless at school. so next year i am gunna be shadowing my friends at the private HS on a day i have off and they dont (just to hang out with them not to see the school). I am afraid next year if i like it i am going to want to go their. But idk what to tell my parents, if i should even tell them. help, advice, anything?
