Father and ten and 13 year old daughters on 4-day Wonder cruise over Labor Day. We bought the cruise late and were assigned second seating. The girls are veteran cruisers although this is our first on Disney. We have always had early seating and they would go up to the kids club after dinner and before desert.

Question is: If we are not able to switch seating once we board, how have others in this situation handled this? If the girls go to the kids club early, they will have to leave halfway through to go the dinner. If they want to take advantage of the full evening, they will have to eat very early or very late room service or "Lido" (don't know what the casual dining area is called).

Thoughts?

Welcome to the boards. We have always done late seating with our DD who will be 11 next month. There is so much going on at the clubs that even with early seating, she would still want to go. We go to the show before dinner, then go to dinner where the waitstaff served her quickly, and she would leave for the club. It worked great for us.
