Second guessing Dec. ADRs

I called in at 7 AM EST today to get my ADRs for December. The problem is I am not sure I am happy with them! I always know for certain where we want to go and what time we want to go there, but this time I am just all muddled.

One concern is timing and uncertainty about the Candlelight Processional. I booked Le Cellier for dinner the night we're at Epcot, but if we don't like Le Cellier in August I will change it. By then the CP packages should be out so I can deal with it all then.

I booked a Fantasmic package for our MGM night but someone else had a really good point about trying to do Osborne lights, dinner, and Fantasmic in the same evening without running out of time. I guess it will depend on how crowded it is! If we eat from 5-6 PM I don't know if we will have time to go see the lights and make it back over to Fantasmic by 7 PM. :confused3 Maybe we'd be better off with CS that night?

I am sure about Crystal Palace before MVMCP, so that's fine.

Our last night I booked Artist Point, but transportation will be a pain. We're spending the day at AK, then we'll go back to Pop to change before dinner. Pop to WL will take a long time, so maybe we'll get a cab. After dinner we can get a bus to Pop from MK.

Breakfast on our departure day is at 1900 Park Fare, but I can't decide if we should check out before we go to breakfast. This is complicated by the fact that we don't have plane tickets yet, so I don't know what time we will need to be back for Magical Express. Plenty of time to decide, I suppose! I just don't feel that sense of relief at getting my ADRs in place like I usually do.

I need to call in Thursday for my ADRs. My partner and I went through the schedules, menus, etc. over the weekend, so I THINK I know where/when we want to eat, but I'm still not sure. We're trying some new places this trip that we have always meant to try, and leaving some old favorites off until next trip. Hopefully we'll enjoy all our meals; maybe we'll even intersect with you some night!

I made my ressies on 6/3, Saturday morning at 7am and we have changed them twice so far ha ha. One thing I did was drop 1900 Park Fare for dinner and changed to Boma, hope I made the right decision.

Buckylarue- We are always up for meeting other DISers! :thumbsup2

We arrive on Dec. 2 (around 11 AM) and depart Dec. 6 hopefully in the afternoon if the flights line up the way I want them to. We're planning to go to MVMCP on Dec. 4.

MickeyNicki -We really enjoy Boma, but we are staying at AKL in August so I think we can skip Boma in December. Then I thought about Jiko instead of Artist Point BUT I really want to try AP. Round and round we go!

Not to mention I am trying to SURPRISE DS with this trip and he came walking out of his room right as the CM asked me what day I wanted my ADR! Why any child would want to be awake at 6 AM during the summer is beyond me. Hopefully he wasn't paying enough attention to get that I was talking to Disney and it wasn't about the August trip. :sunny:

Definitely do the Osbourne lights after Fantasmic. We did that last year and it was great and it wasn't too crowded either. I was worried it would be since we were there the week between Christnmas and New Years but it was fine! :cool1:

That would be great to see the lights AFTER Fantasmic! The other thread where someone asked said that you can't back track to see the lights since the park will be closed. :confused3 I'll make sure we ask a CM on the day we are there just to be sure we will be allowed to go afterwards. If not, we might just skip Fantasmic since we have seen it before and we'll see it 2 more times in August. Thanks!
