Second girl identified in Oregon

The second body that was unearthed at Ward Weaver III's house was identified as the second missing young girl, Ashley Pond, age 12. The first girl, identified Sunday, was Miranda Gaddis. age 13. A sad conclusion to months of searching.

I also cannot understand what is going on. Why our son's and daughters are at so much risk. Why are there so many of these predators out there? Can we trust anyone? Friends, neighbors relatives we live in a very sick society where men and woman prey on children. Is there no end to it. I can't even read the papers anymore I get sick.

This makes me rethink letting my 12 year old walk to school this year. Seems this guy was somewhat of a Known risk.... one of the 2 victims had accused him of molestation in the past. And when they turned up missing the neighbors put a sign on his new cement slab that said, "Dig Here"

I hope their families can start to heal now...... but I don't know if you ever could.
