Second families?

I love some of my friends parents

I consider my friend Alyssa's mom my mom too
I call her mom .
And last night she suprised me with a "I Love Vampires" shirt

I also love my friend Jackie's family!
Her mom and dad are awsome!
Her mom got really mad the other week cause i was staying with alyssa's mom when my sister got in a skii accident and not her haha.

Do you have a second family or like a bond with your friends parents?

Yes I do.

Amanda's family is pretty much my family. I call her mom, "mom", and her dad, "dad". I'm really close to her brothers too, one of her brothers actually could say my name before hers. Her grandmas, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins all know me by name, and give me hugs everytime I see them.

My family is just like Amanda's too, my whole entire family on both sides know her, and everytime they see her they give her hugs, and kisses. lol

Well, my parents are like, best friends with 3 other families. There are 11 of us kids in total. xD We all go to the same school. Our families all hang out together A LOT, we have a party for everyone when it's their birthday. In fact, today was my little brother's party. xD We're all super super close, like brothers and sisters pretty much. We've even gone on vacation together. xD So all their parents are pretty much like my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th parents haha. They're even my emergency contacts in school, lol!

Not really, but I used to.
I was freaking practically family with everyone in my friends family a while back. I was there all the time. I was even there on Christmas eve once (I find that weird, my family would never let me have my friends over that day).

Yeah there are 2. My friend Kevin(the really tall kid from my pics in the SYF Thread) he is mom is like everyones mom. And my friend Ryan who I have gone to school with since Kindergarten.

I'm really close to Ellen's family. Her parents are practically my second parents, and our parents are close friends. We've known each other since second grade. Her brother is almost my brother, and I get along really well with her family

Meggles' and Ed's family is like mine, too (albiet louder and bigger). Their motto is, "you walk through our door, and you're family". They're like my big siblings, seriously. I'm super-close to both of them. I even went to their grandfather's wake, and cried, because I felt their pain (not to mention that I knew him, and he was a very nice man).

Yep, I've got one. We've gone shopping, on vacations, and even taken walks around the neighborhood together.

Yeah.....I have actually have 6. wow I'm lucky. 5 are my friends familys. 1 is my swim coaches I <3 them. I almost called my swim coach mom once. Oh, and another are my Rainbow Girl sisters. Gosh I love them like the sister I never had.

My best friend jen's parents are like mine, her whole family knows who I am. I go to their family parties and everything. The other one is my best friend Brittany, I am really close to her brothers and family. I call her mom 'mom' i love being over there. I consider them both my family.

My friend Alex's parents are like my parents. I call them "mom" and "dad".
I go on trips with them, I'm over at her house all the time.

On the other hand, my parents are like, all my friends parents.
I have 4 friends who call my parents mom and dad.

I have a great relationship with my DBF's parents. I can say that proudly because it has taken alot of time for it to develop. His mom didnt like me and my mom hated him at first. But over many dinner conversations, ect we have become great friends!

Its really nice to know that I have another family that I can lean on.

My best friends family is basically my family and vice verse.
Her parents are great and are like my second pair of parents.
Her brothers are also like siblings to me.

We grew up being at each other's houses so much it's like I have two houses. XD

I don't really have a second family, but my best friend Chelsea IS my sister I've decided. My mom sees her as a daughter. My whole family knows her and loves her. She hangs out with my cousin all the time.

One day. I'm basically going to be the other child of every target employee if my mom doesn't stop telling them everything about our lives while she's handing them 50 coupons and running into them and chatting while they're NOT working.



Seriously. It's hilarious.

But no. My mom does not have friends, she's not a friend person.
But I do talk to one of my friends mom occasionally.

Not really.
I kind of did when I was little with my friend Melissas parents.
But then after years of us being best friends she just ditched me for a new girl on the street.
Ever since i was little ive been VERY shy so i've never really spent the night at alot of peoples houses or go to know their parents good enough to call them my second family.

Yees, I do.
My parents best friends and their son are like my second family. We've been on holiday with them too many times to count. Twice a year we go on a caravan holiday with them. Because their son is an only child like me, he is like my big brother. We usually go to rugby matches together, and we spend christmas morning with them too.

My other second family (or would that be third?) is my best friend Meg's family. Her parents always make my family feel welcome in their home, as do my parents with her's. I've grown up with Meg and her little brother.

My best friend's Mom is like this...

I feel bad sometimes because though my parents try (I guess) I feel like I can talk to her A LOT more easily and I'm much happier when I'm at his house and talking to his family then when I'm around my own.

We have some close family friends who I can talk to loads
I trust them with lots of things
Things that I dont exactly want to tell my parents...
I can get advice from them since my mom isnt exactly the best listener and my dad just gets MAD when I have issues with others...
My parents are so preoccupied with themselves and whining about them selfs they dont really take me seriously...
So when ever I have a issue I know I can just go over to there home and get great advice (they live 2 houses away from us...)
