So our current plan is to take 1 day at each park, an off day and Hoop-Dee-Doo and then two days at Universal. Wondering if we should cancel our Hoop-Dee-Doo, take the first half of the day off to sleep-in and pool then do Epcot instead of Hoop-De-Doo. Just got to thinking we might want to see more of Epcot WS than we will see in our first evening touring which only seems to be a few hours worth. Here is how I see the advantages:

Hoop-De-Doo--No walking today to rest the feet, fun show, all-can-eat dinner, supposed to be a good show.

Epcot--Get to see things we would have to pass on/missed on first day, cost we already have an extra day on our passes we weren't going to use plus Hoop-Dee-Doo is expensive we would save that money.

Wondering what you guys would do knowing this is a first time trip and likely the last for quite some time.

Another advantage of Hoop was the early night, we are going to be up early to get to Universal the next day, might really enjoy that non-walking day prior to the two days there. So many choices, we needed another day for this trip.

Do you have kids?? What ages if yes ?? The majority of WS is made up of shops and restaurants which can lead to younger children getting a little restless while older kids and adults will like to browse the shops. The WIde screen movies in WS, though breath taking, hold little interest to young kids. That being said, if kids are 12 or older, EPCOT would be a nice evening, if younger, Do the Hoop De Doo, if they are toddler age, maybe the Chip and Dale Campfire would be a better option for the kids.

The family would defiantly enjoy either one you choose, Hoop De Doo is a little pricey, but it a great show, and a great all you can eat meal, if it fits your budget, and if you can get ADRs for it. Let the kids decide, either way you will have a wonderful end to your Disney side of your vacation.

I already have the ADRs. Kids will find out about the trip on Tuesday, then we leave the following Tuesday. I think we will discuss it. I don't think there is a wrong choice, just trying to figure out what is best.

I would choose Epcot. My children loved it at that age and were not crazy about Hoop.
