Planning the day at SeaWorld. The show schedule is not posted yet, but based on current schedules (and I'm guessing there may be more shows as we will be there Easter Sunday), we are planning on being there at open and going to Atlantis and then Wild Arctic and then starting the shows with either Shamu or the Dolphins and then moving through the other exhibits as we go from show to show.

With the Manta construction it looks like Rocky Point is closed - is there any accommodation for feeding the dolphins? It is one of my favs so hoping there is something . . .

I think you are out of luck with dolphin feedings. You can feed the seals though. Just check the times when you get there. BTW it is near the Sealion stadium.

We will be there the same day. :goodvibes We booked the animal spotlight tour which says it includes the dolphins...but I don't know; maybe they cahnge it out with another exhibit. Excited either way!

We never plan any schedule. We arrive early, grab the schedule and look thru it and quickly plan our day. Often our plan changes as we spend more time at something but it always works out.

Keep in mind that the Sea Lion show actually starts 15 minutes before posted time. They have a pre-show thats very funny. Because of this the stadium could easily be filled earlier than expected.

The Sea Lion show and Shamu both have night time versions that are different than the day time show. Plan to see both!

Usually (but not always), Atlantis does not open until 1-2 hours after park opening. Even on a crowded day the line seems manageable, often walk on except mid day.

Arctic Wild ride will have a long line midday but early morning, late afternoon or later is very short.

Shipwreck Rapids will have a HUGE line anytime its hot and sunny out. If you don't want to wait in the long line then ride very early or grab ponchos and ride at night.

If you are at the park from open till close on a night when the park closes late (10pm or so) then consider the all you can eat dining option. You'll get breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks and drinks or anything you want all day. If you don't do that, then at least get a refillable drink mug. Will save you quite a bit during the day!

I forgot that at least one of the backstage animal encounters does have dolphin feeding. Eels too. But it is a lot more $ than a tray of fish and there are limited spaces available.

Probably have some good news for you. According to son-in-law, a SW employee, Rocky Point was to be open by the 21st of this month. They have started to xfer dolphins there so it should (no promises-you can't sue me) be up and running by your visit.
