I prefer Sea World at night. It's cooler, sometimes less crowded than during the daytime. What happens in the summer nights can change from year to year. This Summer they should have a new nightime Shamu show. For the past few years they've had a great summer night version of the Sea Lion show called Sea Lions Tonight, that makes fun of most of the other shows in the park. I'm hoping they bring this show back this summer, and really hope it makes fun of the just announced yesterday new Elmo Bookaneers show that's opening up soon at Sea World.
I also really like to watch Blue Horizons at night, I miss the birds a little in the night time presentation, but the colors from the lighting more than make up for the absence of the birds for me. I'm in the minority but really enjoy Sea World's nightime spectacular Mistify, which is sometimes presented 2 times in one night, I really enjoy the pyro and the music in that one, kind of on the fence when it comes to the story of the show.
I really wish we had the music nights/shows like San Diego gets for summer but oh well. Blue Horizons at night ,hopefully the new Shamu Rocks show/ Sea Lions Tonight, and then end it with Mistify is good enough for me.
