Has anyone been to the Seaworld Spooktacular and the Count's breakfast? We are taking DD 15 months in October. Is there anything we shouldn't miss? Is the breakfast fun?
Does she like the Sesame characters? The reason I ask - the breakfast says it is for kids 2 - 9, so she would be just outside the lower range of that. Infants are free, so if she likes the characters and you don't mind buying a ticket I am sure she would enjoy it.
Since you will be there on the weekend also plan on taking her trick or treating. Various stations are set up, usually in the back part of the park from around the Games area all the way past Shamu stadium and into the Bayside pathway area.
There is also a railway ride just as you enter Happy Harbor that kids seem to enjoy. And if she likes the Sesame characters there is a show at Seaport Theatre (where the Pet's Ahoy show normally is) called Sesame Street's Countdown to Halloween.
Best part of it all - unlike a certain rodent down the street most items are part of normal admission. The exceptions are the normal things like the breakfast.
She likes Sesame Street. Not as much as Disney stuff like Doc or Mickey. She really likes any character in "real" life though. We will be at Disney for 2 weeks so I am planning on Seaworld for 2 days. I got tickets for the breakfast. I think she will like it. She likes other character breakfasts. She doesn't watch much TV but I have been letting her watch some Sesame Street DVDs sos she will maybe recognize them. She likes Elmo! She likes the shows at Disney and Gulf World at the beach so I think she will enjoy Seaworld.
They also have a Penelope Party Zone. I have no idea if she is a Sesame character or not.
I do know that the Countdown to Halloween show mentions Elmo, and it seems like Elmo is usually in all the shows, so she will definitely have a chance to see him on stage. Not sure about a meet and greet type interaction.
Sometimes I have noticed a sign outside the show where you can meet the characters. They only have certain ones at certain times. So just keep a look out for that. Sometimes its before the show.
We are going to try to do a day at SW just for the spooktacular.
