Hiya -
has anyone been on a Seaworld Spooktacular day - is it worth going at the weekend especially for it???

Keep getting emails from them saying it is free with admission at the weekend and includes some trick or treating, facepainting and shows.... is it just for toddlers or older kids too???

We did it last year for the first time.

Upon arrival at Seaworld the queue to get in was approximately 10 cars long per toll booth, now bare in mind we had already visited the previous week and we were immediately concerned how busy the park was looking at been in comparison to 5 days earlier.

Our concerns were proved to be correct, the park had gone from been a 10 minute max wait for the majoirity of the rides to 60 minutes plus :scared1:

I think it boils down to 2 main factors, one the event is free unlike Disney, plus its held only on a weekend (except for Halloween itself).

IMO if you are planning on visting the park more than once than yes, go for it. However if you are only visiting the once I would avoid the weekends when they hold the events and opt for a quieter park with less wait times etc.

I would not go if crazy lines like that, everytime we have been it been very quiet, no different to any other day so maybe its got more popular now.:confused3

We did it on a Sunday a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was child friendly and we all got shed loads of goodies!

Thanks all - sounds like we do a drive past and see the lines for getting in.... we have our flex plus tickets anyhow, so can just go off up to US or go Mall shopping if it is too bad..

Went last Saturday.

Mega packed. Car park was completely full. Queues for rides were nuts.... Too full IMHO.

Unless you really want to go for the halloween bit, go another day.

Theme Park Review have done a photo tour of the event.
looks really good, the fact of free sweets too is a bonus

it wont let me link it for some reason though
