Seaworld "Showtime Picnic"

I love Seaworld, and haven't been since 2005. This time we'll have DD7 and DD4 with us, and I love the killer whales. Does anybody know if the reserved seating for Showtime Picnic at Seaworld is any good?

Hi there, I noticed no one is replying so I thought I'd give it a go. I have not been to the showtime picnic, but I plan to in April. My thinking was it is a reserved seat and lunch so it saves me time lining up at food counters and i get a good seat.

DH and I did the showtime picnic last July. We did it for the same reason as PP. We wanted reserved seats so we wouldn't have to show up at the stadium very early and we figured we would be spending about $12/person on food anyway so we might as well eat while we're there to save some time.

The seats were good but they are not in the very front. You are out of the whole splash zone area so you're actually about half way up. When we were there they seated us to the left of center. We could see everything fine but if you want to be closer to the whales and don't mind getting wet, you should skip it and go early to get seats in the splash zone.

We did it on our first visit to Sea World last summer, and being as how we are from Australia it was out first Shamu experience as nowhere here has tanks big enough for them.
Anyway, it was really good. Out of the splash zone and the food was way better than you could get elsewhere in the park. I didn't eat most of mine at the show and was carrying it around fora while later and I had people stopping me to ask where I got it. The kids got a cute Shamu lunch box too.

i just checked this out and it looks neat, the food looks good and i love the lunch boxes. The price is very good to
