Seaworld shows

I'm just in the process of booking our tickets and wanted to know what shows you would recommend? the penguin one looks neat...any others?

Also the one featuring birds, false killer whlaes and dolphins was really fun.


If you want to shell out some extra $$$, then the Dolphn Behind the Scene tour was really good. DD is a HUGE dolphin nut and this gave us some great interaction.

What penguin show do you mean? I don't recall there being one. There is, however, an arctic exhibit that has penguins in it.

I would recommend all the shows at Sea World. They are fabulous and you can fit them all in during one day of touring so long as you get there first thing in the morning. Whatever you do, don't miss Clyde and Seymour! Pets Ahoy! was also really cute.

My family's favourites are Blue Horizons (dolphins and birds), Clyde and Seymour (pirates, sea lions, and otter), and Pets Ahoy (rescue animals, mostly cats and dogs).

We've never managed to see the indoor circus show (I think it's called Odyssea?) but I hear it's modeled on Cirque de Soleil.

Personally, I wouldn't try to see all the shows in one day because that's too many shows... kind of like being on a really long airline flight and watching back-to-back movies all day!

Intersperse sit-down shows with exhibits. Don't miss the penguin, arctic, and shark pavillions... they are awesome!

We went for a full day and saw all the shows and all the exhibitis. We also took in the free beer tasting session and a leisurely lunch. There's nothing that we missed other than the thrill rides and kiddie rides. And we were travelling with my cousin who has special needs and was in a wheelchair for the day. This was easily doable in a day and we didn't find it long or boring at all.

Oddyssea is no longer there. It has been replaced by A'Lure: The Call of the Ocean. It too is Cirque-esque.

So we usually only hit three shows per visit. In between my must-do shows, I let them wander on their own time schedule. The troops tend to rebel if I try to drag them away from animals they're watching.

I'm like your family and love to watch the animals. we only went for one day on our visit and would've loved to be there for much longer. it was too hot that day though and we left around 3pm. We saw the must see's with clyde and seymour, shamu and the dolpins. we did the walk through sharks, penguins and also fed the rey's. Next time we go we're planning 2 days for sea world 3 for universal and the rest of the 2 weeks at disney.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I could easily spend three days there. However, if you only have a day, you can definitely fit in all the shows without rushing. We weren't really on a tight schedule. We just would go to one show and check out exhibits before the next show began. We were there, though, in early February so it wasn't really crowded.

And we had no plans before we got there. I didn't even realize we were going until that morning.
