I love Seaworld. They have a special event going on this coming weekend (9/27 & 28). Their semi-annual latin festival may increase crowds on those days. Friday should be less crowded (but I go for the festival).
It is hard to do the park in one day. Study the schedule and make a plan to hit the shows you want to see. Remember that the park is huge and it is a long walk to get from one side of the park to the other.
I love the following shows: Shamu (get there at least 10 minutes early), Clyde & Seamore, Pets Ahoy and the Key West Dolphin show. The Cirque show was replaced by a new one in August. The Shamu Rocks show is another must see if you are still there late in the day.
Other great activities include: feeding the dolphins, rays and seals, viewing the manatees and penguins, walking through the shark exhibit and enjoying the free beer (if you get into that kind of thing) at the hospitality house. They offer a Budweiser Beer School as well.
I head for Atlantis and Kraken first before the crowds build. Wild Arctic is near Shamu stadium so plan to see this before or after the Shamu show. Keep in mind that most of the stadium heads there after the Shamu show ends.
Plan on a lot of walking. If you want to return, check to see if they have any special deals on an extra days' admission.
Check out other postings that offer a $10 coupon off admission.
Have a great time!
