We don't want to miss a thing when we go next month.
We were there again yesterday and I have discovered one show
that I won't waste my time at again. I was not imprerssed with Odyssea. It was slow moving, starting out with a French comedian(silent) who really was not funny and then he goes on stage and watches the dancers/acrobats(?). The girl in the shell could bend her body in ways body's don't move but it was just long and slow. The girls spinning on ropes and the ring is just the same thing they have at BG at one of the shows there.
Once is enough on that one.
Other than that we had a blast and did things we haven't done in years. We went to Pets Ahoy for the first time in years. The animals were so cute and recommend the show even if you don't have kids.
We went into the tropical reef for the first time in years to see the beautiful fish etc. Usually we don't have time so we left out other things like visiting the manatees to go there.
As always we spent a lot of time down in the Arctic with the Walrus and Polar bears.
Yesterday( a Tuesday) was not busy so there were not many people in the Arctic first thing in the morning. They feed the balugas about 10 AM and sometimes the polar bear , too. You also see the diver who cleans the pool at this time. Sometimes the balugas put on a show of spins etc.
We were the only people by the Walrus sort of hanging out till it was time to go to shamu show. the walrus came up to the window and was just staring at us. If I moved the bottle of water I had in my hand from spot to spot he would follow the movement , so I leaned up to the window putting my face right up to it starring back at him. He squished his face right up to the window , too so I guess I got a walrus kiss. LOL what a blast. I got him to do that several times before we left the area. I love that place. <g>
