Seaworld Question

Can anyone weigh in on how long we need at Seaworld? There seems to be a great deal to get a second day for only $10 more/person. But if we don't need a second day, then it's a waste of money. So one day or two?

I'd just get the one day. You can probably upgrade to the second day while you're there, if you want.

I'd just get the one day. You can probably upgrade to the second day while you're there, if you want.

Right now Sea World is offering those weekday (Mon-Fri) tickets for just $50.00. If you buy one of those online and then decide to go for a second say, can those discounted tickets also be upgraded for $10.00?

Yes those tickets can be upgraded. The upgrade actually is done at the park while you are there. You just go to gues relations before park closing and add a 2nd day if you want.

Deciding on a 2nd day would also depend on when you are going. The $50 weekday tickets end dec something. I know its in the middle of the month.

If you are planning on riding the rides (if you are coaster lovers, don't miss Manta!), seeing all the shows (well worth it, IMHO) and take in some of the animal interactions (dolphin feeding, etc.) then I would definitely say two days. Its a wonderful, relaxing park of neat things to do and well worth a two day visit.

The OP is from Toronto (I am assuming from her user name) and the $50 weekday tickets are only being offered to US citizens. So they would not be an option for her family.

No worries....it would have been so much better if SW had just extended those discounted tickets to EVERYONE, regardless of where you call home!

I agree! I didn't even realize Canadiens couldn't buy them. I'm not normally a rule breaker, but if you purchased the tickets online and had them mailed to you, how would the gate agent even know you were not an American?

oops, never mind I just answered my own question. They probably wouldn't mail them to anyone that didn't have an USA address and if you ordered them online to pick up at the park, you'd have to show an ID.

lol, I was going to tell you that our origin would be discovered when we showed up at the gate and greeted the ticket takers with "Good morning, its wonderful weather for a day at SeaWorld, EH?" .

Just kidding, we don't say it THAT much .
