SeaWorld on a rainy day???

Looking at Accuweather's extended forecast, it looks like it may be rainy on the day we plan on going to SeaWorld. WOuld you still go? Are enough of the attractions enclosed?

The outdoor attractions are subject to close when lightning is within around 5 miles of the park. If it is a light rain, the show will go on. There are many indoor attractions at Sea World. All you need to do is grab a poncho or umbrella and run from attraction to attraction.

We were there last Sunday in the pouring rain. We were able to feed the dolphins, see the dolphin show, the Shamu show, Wild Arctic, have lunch, etc in the morning while it rained. We were able to sit far enough up to be out of the rain for the shows, which was nice. We did notice that Kraken wasn't running during this time. Not sure about Atlantis (but we were wet enough already, so the water ride didn't hold much appeal). It cleared up about 1pm and the crowds got significantly larger for the rest of the day. In the afternoon we saw everything else we wanted to, had our Dinner with Shamu, and finished the night with the "Shamu Rocks America" show, which was great. The rain was a bit miserable in the morning (I was a bit cold, as I had on shorts under my poncho), but it certainly kept the crowds away! Even my DH, who is not a big theme park fan, said he was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked SeaWorld. We had a nice dinner with Shamu, which I will post about separately....P

Thanks for the report! Also, I seemed to think the "Shamu Rocks America" show wasn't on during winter months...glad to hear I'm wrong!
