Hi guys. I've been using these boards planning my upcoming WDW vacation.

We will be checking out of Pop and moving for two nights to the Orlando Vista. Planning on spending one full day at SeaWorld. Never been there. I have two daughters 9 and 6.

What is the best way to purchase single day tickets and are there any discounts available? Does one plan a day at SeaWorld like the touring plans for WDW?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Sorry I can't help with the ticket info, I'm sure one of the locals will be along in a while with all the info though.

As for planning, if you want to see the shows then yes you will need to make a plan as it can be tricky to get them all in in a one day visit because the start and finish times can be close. The rest of the park, rides and animal exhibits, can be viewed easily without a plan. Like any other park the earlier you do the big rides the shorter you wait will be. The Sea World web site lists the show times a couple of months prior to the day, so it is easy to get you plan done early.

In general most people say a Sea World day is more relaxing than a Disney day, so take it easy and enjoy yourselves.:thumbsup2

You can sign up as a Southwest Airlines rewards member (it's free and you don't have to fly with them). If you print the member card and bring it with you to the gate, you save 20% off gate prices.

Unless your set on the Vista, we just stayed at the Fairfield on Canada Drive and for $294 for two nights we got: length of stay passes, gift bags for our two kids with Shamu plush toys, a SW pen, stickers, we also got a coupon book with free upgrade to preferred parking, free desert with dinner, in addition we also got the free breakfast at the hotel. My husband figured it out and for everything we got our hotel was FREE. The package is still going on because when we got our bill when we checked out the flyer was attached with our bill.

We had a great time, SW is more relaxed than Disney but we still spent two full days, the kids loved it my DS7 said it was his favorite from our trip last week.

Have fun!!
