Can anyone give me an idea of what meals cost at SW or BG for that matter?

What would a burger, drink, fries cost?
Pizza?

What is included in a kids' meal and how much would it cost?

I've looked on the wen for me us but can't find any.

TIA.

Your expectations seem low when you ask about the price of burgers, fries, and pizza. Seaworld and Busch Gardens have a much greater variety of food than that. You will find many types of sandwiches, interesting sides, and various entrees that don't fit the sandwich category such as bbq chicken, ribs, pasta dishes, Asian food wraps, salads, etc. The park's websites have menus and I suggest checking them out under the dining category on each park's site.

No matter what you choose for food, the prices tend to be around $10 for a sandwich and side, $10-15 for other meals, and around $3 for a drink.

To give you an idea of the menus, here are many photos of the menu boards at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. You will find the food styles and prices very similar across all of the Seaworld owned parks. http://forum.parkfans.net/thread-1847.html

Just want to add. Check out the all day meal option. It includes an entree, a side, and a drink as many times as you want them . All day long you can go back in and get a drink or a snack(fruit-pie-cake-cookies- inside the restaurants included in the deal. Costs about $30 and 2 meals and a couple drinks basically will cost more than the plan if bought separately throughout the day. Entrees are meat platters, pasta, tacos, pizza, etc. or even a burger and fries if you really want that. We never get burgers at SW, though. Other food is just too good.

I will second that!

Thanks for the responses.
I'm not much of a burger and fries person myself (except Peco's Bills!) but I figured if I had a cost for that, or for pizza, it would help me gauge prices overall. If you said $13.99 vs. $9.99 vs. $5.99.

We are planning to get the 14 day BG/SW/Aquatica tix for May (I'm starting another thread) and I do plan on getting All Day Dining for SW. But I'm trying to figure out a budget for eating at the other two spots.

I'm glad to hear you like the food. I hate giving up too much park time for eating; but when we do pause to eat, we like eating well. :goodvibes

Sharks is the only order at the table type restaurant in SW, everything else is quick serve or a serving line where you pick up what you want to eat. So meals are usually pretty fast unless you sit and talk like we do. My family from other towns in Florida meet at SW just to eat every so often. We choose to eat when restaurants not as busy and not right after a show that is near that restaurant.

You can get the same meal deal at BG and Aquatica has one, too.

Yesterday at SW , we only ate 1 meal. My husband and I both got the Brisket platter, a coke, and we shared 1 slice of cheesecake for dessert . That cost us just about $32 after our 10% discount. We only needed a couple drinks during the day so that cost us another $5.60 for bottles of water. If it is hot out we drink a lot more and we usually get ice cream before we leave the park(too cold for me yesterday LOL so didn't) which adds another $10. Small stands, ice cream shop, and bakery are not included in the meal deal.

I have no idea how much hot dogs, turkey legs etc. cost. But sometimes if we don't get the plan, my husband and I opt to share a 2 or 3 meat platter. adding a salad or desert usually fills us and we can get by with the 1 meal for the whole day. If park is open late we might share popcorn.
The ham sandwiches in some places are huge and could feed 2 kids probably cheaper than 2 kids meals etc. The same could be said for the fajitas- they give you 3 or 4 tortillas to fill so kids could probably share if not purchasing the meal deal. Can't share what you get on the meal deal.

I would plan the least expensive entree at 8.95 but I could be high for a burger.

This helps a great deal; thank you!
