hi

we are going on our first ever seaworld trip in October. We think we are going to head down on a Friday.

What should be our must do's.

Also I know my daughter will want to feed the dolphins so is it better to do the dolphin tour or do the family fun tour so she gets to feed the sea lions as well as some rides and the priority seating for the show.

Is feeding the dolphins only a for a fee or is there feeding with park admission.

Thanks

Hi, you can feed the dolphis, sea lions... For a fee, each tray of food costs $5., but if what you want is a close encounter, then you'll have to get the tour. Since you're going in october, I wouldn't worry about getting priority sitting or front of the line, the park won't be crowded.

Dolphin feeding is $7 per tray of food for the dolphins. Each person wishing to enter the dolphin feeding area has to buy at least one try of food. So, four people wanting to go in, you have to buy at least 4 trays. So it'll be $28.

There are a few other animals in the park you can also feed; the Seals/Sealions, Stingrays, as well as a few smaller species of sharks in front of the shark encounter. The costs, I believe, starts at $5 a tray, but they have tiered pricing. But not sure of the exact costs. Just depends how much food you want to buy.

as far as must do's?

def hit up all the shows you can. the maps they hand out have a guide to follow for show times. some times are hard to follow if the little ones don't walk very fast. most of the attractions are pretty close w/ the exception of shamu stadium; it's in the south corner of the park all by itself. priority seating isn't really neccessary. the new turtle reef exhibit is pretty cool.

we are going down in November (the beginning) my kids are 11 & 7....what would be the best things for them? My DD doesnt really like roller coasters and DS likes them but he is little. Thanks for your help

If you are planning on doing the dolphin feeding, do it early as soon as the park opens! Once the dolphins get full, you can still buy trays of fish, but you might not have much interaction with them.
